5 Atek Trusses have just been delivered to site in Glasnevin in Dublin together with Atek Glulam Posts and Purlins. The trusses sit on Atek Glulam Posts and Atek Glulam purlins tie the whole thing together. This was a design and supply project for Raudon Teoranta.  Our works included: Specification of the Glulam truss, post and purlin members, All calculations for the trusses and the design and detailing of the steel shoes and connectors.

Working closely with the Architect and Engineers the project was realised an a very short period of time and was on site less than 5 weeks after order. The contractor was very happy with the quality of the craftsmanship and the installation went without a hitch.

 

 

The main contractor had to sling the trusses onto previously positioned posts like in the pictures above. When all the trusses were in position the purlins were attached to finish.
